Some dude drove his car into the Farmers Market and injured 3 people in Jun 08. A lot of times when I am at a farmers market I do not like to get run over so I will take of a star for that but otherwise very fresh produce and good people.

The thing I like best about this farmer's maket in particular is that they focus on things that come from the FARM.  I love the OB market, too, but the farmers seem to be overpowered there by other vendors slinging their art wares and meats on a stick.  Don't get me wrong, I love art wares and even more so, meats on a stick.  However, I love seasonal, farm-fresh produce and flowers even more.  Favorites:  blood oranges, the heirloom tomatoes, and the eggs!  The only thing that keeps the PB market from 5 stars is.....it's pretty small.  I like lots of farmers.

Every Saturday from 8am to noon in Pacific Beach you can catch the Farmers market in the Promenade Mall on Mission Blvd (that's between Reed and Pacific Beach Blvd). Cruise up on your cutest beach bike, armed with your Carrie bike basket from DesignHouse (oh, you don't know about these? Check them out: http://www.marielouise...) and get some great SoCal produce. They also have a great herb vendor. My favorites are the organic oranges and avos from Anaheim.
