9450 Scranton RdGreat spot for lunch. They are fast and the good is great just as with their other locations. They are running a promo right now where you can get a free mango tea if you pay cash.
Not bad at all. Good place for your friends or co-workers to try if they are considering a vegitarian style lunch. Parking can be a pain so get there early.

I work across the street from the food court that Sipz is housed in, and I am ADDICTED to Sipz's Pad Thai with tofu. I get it medium and to go. The food court itself has a gazillion different stands, so actually finding a place to sit and/or a parking spot is next to impossible during peak hours. I've also sampled the Kung Pao and Orange "chicken" while waiting on line, and they are both tasty.
What I like about this place - besides the tasty eats, is that you get a lot for your money. My $7.50 (that's total including tax) gets me a HUGE serving of Pad Thai, my choice of side salad (I go with the Basil Tofu), and a free iced tea (I love when they have passion fruit!) for paying in cash!
I like quick and easy and cheap when it comes to lunch. I also like asian and asian-inspired food. And although I'm not vegetarian, I enjoy dabbling in enjoying tofu and soy-based "imitation meat" (for lack of a better term). Sipz doesn't disappoint.

I swear it's real chicken. In a food court, so don't expect a restaurant experience. Plus, water pitchers with lemon and cucumber.
On a side, I've never understood the cucumber in water. Might as well put iceberg lettuce in the water. Or squash. I'm going to bottle that: Lettuce and Squash Infused Spring Water. Why the cucumber? Fruit goes in water, not vegetables. Am I wrong?

THE BEST!!! By far one of the best vegetarian restaurants out there!! I had their Cashew Chicken dish with rice and their fake drum sticks...YUM. The fake drumsticks come with this really tasty dipping sauce and are just delicious. The cool thing abou there dishes is you can get them as spicy or as little spicy as you like. The waitress will ask you on a scale from 1 to 10 how spicy would you like it..I go with 8. The menu prices are so reasonable, the place is packed a lot so expect a wait if you are going during dinner hours. Only one semi bad experience was when I ordered take out they said 20 minutes and it ended up being over an hour. But the place was jammed packed and there was 4 or so other people also waiting for take out. But I guess that just comes with the territory for a popular place. Would tell ANY vegetarian that they must go here and even a non vegeterian person would enjoy their meal.
I've only been here once, and I need to come here again for my fake meat fix!
I tried the Drunken Noodles with mock chicken. DN is the one dish I use to judge Thai restaurants and Sipz (a fusion restaurant) did a damn good job of it. I would say it is 3rd on my list after Spice and Rice and Amarin. The plate was giant and full of noodles with a side of your choice of their three salads they prepare that day (which if i remember is no more than $7). The noodles were not swimming in sauce. I asked for spicy but it wasn't as spicy as I wished for. They had a sample of their Kung Pao Chicken on the counter as mentioned by Bart, and it was tasty.
The only problem, I think I got an MSG headache coupled with a food coma after lunch. I think fake meats are often loaded with MSG. I need to check with them about it.
MSG headache bad. Food coma good.

I already wrote a review for the Claremont branch of this awesome vegetarian cafe, but I just HAD to write one for this place too.
Two words; CHEAP. DELICIOUS.
The location is a bit out of the way, but if you live in Poway, I guess its alright. This branch is a bit bigger than its Claremont sister, and everything is a bit newer, but the menu is the same. And the food is just as delicious.
This place is a brand new addition to that food court down by Qualcomm off the 805 and Mira Mesa Blvd. They lured me over with some free samples of their kung pao "chicken" and I've been hooked every since. This is all vegetarian and they have these meat substitutes that have a firm texture, though you're not really fooled. But, it tastes great.
I like to rock the Spicy Basil Rice Bowl, extra hot, with the phony chicken strips in it. You get a decent amount of food for $7 and the service is very friendly and accommodating. I hear their parent location in Clairemont can have some questionable service, but here it's just their walk up counter so they don't have to deal with a dining room full of impatient crybabies. Just the occasional Qualcomm dork in his demon shirt and beige dockers that find eating a vegetarian dish some sort of novelty.
One thing they can use is a Club Card type thing where you get the 8th bowl free if you buy 7 or something like that. I say this because I'm going to be hitting this place up pretty often.
