Hi East Coast Yelpers!
I'm visiting from San Francisco this week and am looking for some out of the ordinary things to do. I've already planned some normal touristy stuff like the Freedom Trail and Harvard Square. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hi Alicia! Glad to hear you're coming to Boston. If you are looking to go where the locals go, here are a few to try. For local rock in a dingy environment try the Middle East in Cambridge (www.mideastclub.com). For a hip, wee spot for drinks try River Gods in Cambridge. For laughs, try the Improv Asylum in the North End of Boston (if you like Italian food, this is the part of town to find the best too). Sushi (which I saw you like), try Fugakyu in Brookline or OSushi at Copley for upscale ... or for exploring try the Chinatown area .
If you are looking for more, or how to find these, feel free to message me. If you have more specifics of the kinds of things you are looking to do.. let me know.. I'll try to help. Lists people have made help too.. especially when targeting one area of town.
